I’ve been passionate about cycling since I was a child, I started racing when I was 12 years old and since that moment I fell in love with this sport.
I was a professional track and road rider from 2002 until I retired in 2015. I was World Champion on the track in 2014 and I was at olympics in Beijing and London, as well as being World Cup winner.
Since I retired, I’m just enjoying the races, training and riding MTB around Europe.
I was Irish track national coach from 2015 until the end of 2019; getting some World Cup wins and medals with my riders.
I also coach some amateur riders, recreational riders and I enjoy it a lot. I like to get my professional cyclist point of view to the amateur level and push it hard!!
I love looking at numbers and power files, and analysing the performance of my riders and helping them improve. When my rider is happy and they improve the performance, then I’m happy!!
