Back in 2014 I decided I wanted to change my life around from being an uninspired and very non sporty person, so took up cycling. Since then, I have progressed from being a complete amateur to gaining and retaining my British Cycling Elite race licence and joining a UCI Continental team.
Having competed against World Tour level riders and raced internationally in UCI stage races, I have built up a vast experience of racing at many different levels across disciplines including track, time trial and road. I have been coaching for the last 18 months and have enjoyed helping athletes to progress and achieve their goals by applying practical knowledge gained from my own training and racing experience in combination with my ongoing academic studies towards a BSc in Sport & Exercise Sciences.
Combining training, racing and studying, I understand the pressures of a busy life and the importance of balancing training and racing with appropriate nutrition and recovery. I look forward to sharing this with my Spokes clients.
